First Responders Spill Control (Awareness Level) is an interactive, hands on and interesting course, which has been created to educate, prepare, and improve response times in the event an unplanned spill occurs. It also benefits companies with their internal ISO14001 accreditation and legislation compliance.
This is an ideal course for those looking for a first responder internal spill training course. Certification for successful delegates/learners will aid Clients in demonstrating compliance with section 4.4.7 of ISO 14001 Emergency Preparedness and Response.
This course is designed for people who want to receive training in First Responders Spill Control.
To ensure they get the most effective learning experience, learners must be physically able to participate, and we limit group size to 12 people.
Who should attend
The course lasts half a day and takes place in the classroom and externally for Practical Scenario
Covers the following topics:
Improved response to Incidents and Emergencies
Correct use and selection of spill response products
Peace of mind that you have covered the minimum legislative training requirements.
Integration of health, safety, and environmental systems
We will send over a questionnaire to be completed by yourselves (minimum of one week prior to the course) this helps us understand your business activities a little better, any forms (emergency plans, RAMS, COSHH assessments, etc. That we can include in the session) and type of spill response equipment available to the teams. Note: We can provide spill kits and PPE/RPE (we are a distributor for JSP) at competitive prices if you so need.
We recommend delegates renew their qualification after 3 years. However, it is recommended that, during the 3-year period, delegates attend annual refresher courses.
